Zip Lining at Craig’s Cruisers

Craig’s Cruisers is a top family destination for fast paced fun, and zip lining takes that fun to a whole new level. Fly high above Silver Lake on the Soaring Eagle Zip Line at Craig’s Cruisers for a view of Silver Lake from a completely new perspective. Sandboarding on the Dunes

Of course we love jetting across the dunes in an ORV, but there’s another truly unique way to experience the dunes, and that’s sandboarding. Want to give it a try? Then just head over to Silver Lake Sandbox to rent a sandboard or sled, find your way to the pedestrian area of the dunes, and soon you will find yourself sailing across the dunes. Sandboarding is a lot like snowboarding but in the warm summer sun. It’s a must-try activity during your visit to Silver Lake. Splash Acres at Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo

Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo is a favorite destination of the kiddos, featuring unique animal encounters and 45+ fun farm attractions in New Era. On hot summer days, Splash Acres become the central attraction. Be sure to bring along bathing suits, because the kids are going to want to take part in all of the excitiment. They are sure to love the spraying each other with the water cannons, being soaked by the giant bucket, and running through water fountains shooting in every direction. LL Forge

LL Forge is a traditional blacksmithing and blade smithing forge in Shelby offering a glimpse into the past at a centuries old craft.  All projects are created in a coal fired forge and made with artful care and attention to detail and function. You can even join them for a “hands-on” learning experience for ages 12 and up. For those not quite ready to get their hands dirty, you’ll enjoy browsing the hand forged furniture, Damascus and high carbon knives, axes and rings, pendants and earrings, as well as fireplace sets, coat and pan racks, fire pokers, hooks and more!
