Through the month of November guests can ride their horses in the designated trails in the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Visitors must bring their own horse and note that drinking water is not available for people or horses. Open horseback riding in ORV or pedestrian areas is prohibited. Before riding, ensure your horse is conditioned for a 5–10 mile ride and practice courtesy by giving space and walking near others.
