Pentwater Christmas in the Village
December 17 - December 18
People often think of Pentwater as a summer beach town, but it is truly becoming a destination for the holidays as well! If you’re seeking some small-town charm this holiday season, visit Pentwater Christmas In The Village on Dec 3, 10, &17th. More than 20 businesses will be decking the halls to offer a unique shopping, dining, and lodging experience. Shops will be filled to the brim with unique gifts, treats, and holiday apparel, making Pentwater the perfect one-stop shop for the holiday gift-giving and party season. Most of the participating shops will be open Thursdays through Sundays each week with several offering extended hours on Friday evenings. Don’t miss out on the holiday movie-themed window decoration contest between the village merchants. $1 per vote, with all of the proceeds going to a local food bank.
Christmas In The Village isn’t just about shopping, there will also be fun family activities, such as Christmas Caroling at the top of the Village Green on Saturdays from 3-6pm with hot cocoa & cookies, horse-drawn wagon rides on Dec 17 & 18, and photo opportunities with Elf and our vintage Frosty The Snowman (“Find Frosty”). Earn a chance to win local gift certificates and prizes by posting your Pentwater Christmas In The Village photos on social media with the hashtag #PTWChristmas. Visit Pentwater this holiday season to sip, shop and stay for the day…or the weekend!
Nov 25 & 26: Black Friday & Small Business Saturday. Businesses will be open and some even gift wrap.
Nov 26: Christmas Market on Village green for wreaths, garlands and trees.
Dec 3: Ugly Christmas Sweater Day – Wear your best ugly Christmas Sweater for store discounts and promos.
Dec 10: Holiday Sweet Stroll – Sweet Stroll bags will be sold at Jilly’s Gallery leading up to the event.
Dec 17 & 18: Horse-drawn wagon rides through Pentwater Village.
