Night at the Lights – Steel Doin’ It

Throughout the summer, Lakeshore Keepers hosts a concert series at the base of Little Sable’s tower. It’s free to attend. Bring a chair or blanket for an evening of music on the beach with Lake Michigan and the lighthouse as the backdrop.

Steel Doin’ It began in 2002 when members signed up for a class to learn to play steel drums, and didn’t want to stop playing when the class ended! Several original band members remain in the group of Spring Lake and Grand Haven residents. The band plays traditional Caribbean selections and contemporary favorites.
