Since 1987, The Lakeshore Keepers have served to preserve and promote Michigan’s maritime history, educate the public, and make our lighthouses accessible to all. Beginning with Big Sable Point Lighthouse, it has grown to include Little Sable, Ludington North Breakwater, White River Light Station and Museum, and, most recently, Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse.
Open 7 days a week
School tours are available for free; reservations are required.
Bus transportation is available to Big Sable Point Lighthouse on certain days throughout the summer. See the event schedule on our website for details.
