The hills were still full of life come the fourth of July, as Silver Lake’s “Thunder Over the Dunes” drew in a larger than usual crowd. The display was nothing short of breathtaking, featuring unique explosions against the deep, inky sky. Everyone agrees it’s like nothing you’ll ever see in the city. It’s without a doubt the best of Silver Lake camping and 4th of July splendor, with ample grounds to grill and chill with friends and family.
