A Thunderous Tradition

Break out your barbecue because the Fourth of July is right around the corner! Whether you spend the day grilling out or riding on the dunes, you won’t want to miss the spectacular sparks happening in the area. Pentwater, Hart, and Silver Lake will each be having their own fireworks show on different nights. You can go to one, or all three!

July 2nd – 4th

“Hart Sparks” Fireworks Celebration

There’s fun for all at “Hart Sparks” with live music, games and activities, and plenty of delicious food sold by local vendors!

Where: Hart Commons in Downtown Hart, 16 S. State Street, Hart, MI 49420
When: Saturday, July 2nd from 6pm – 10:15pm
Fireworks Begin: At dusk (around 10pm)

Pentwater Fireworks

Enjoy a vibrant display of sparks over Lake Michigan! Viewers enjoy picking a spot on the beach at Charles Mears State Park or watching from boats.

Where: Charles Mears State Park, 400 W. Lowell Street, Pentwater, MI 49449
When: Sunday, July 3rd

“Thunder Over the Dunes” in Silver Lake
Sunday, July 4th

Celebrate America’s Independence Day in style with a spectacular display over the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Cuddle up with blankets on the shoreline, head out onto Silver Lake on your boat, or find a good spot on the dunes around the lake.

Heroes on the Dunes

July 15 – 16

This 2-day celebration honors current members and veterans of America’s Armed Forces and features several events in and around the Silver Lake area.
